Greetings family
I hope you’re having a great start to the week so far. On my end, we had another really good session reading chapter 12 of Blueprint For Black Power. The full replay is available here.
I’m also pleased to announce the launch of my new series, The Panafrican Science Podcast. You already know that I have a keen interest in S.T.E.M. matters and have done several science-focussed videos such as Neuromelanin and Alzheimer’s, Sickle Cell and Malaria, An Introduction to Melanin, and more recently, two videos on Vitamin D. In the process of researching for a new video on Vitamin D, I have gone down a huge number of rabbit trails. It occurred to me that I really ought to just share all the things I’m learning, as I learn them.
So, here’s the first instalment of The Panafrican Science Podcast entitled Most Sunlight is Invisible. I’ve added previous videos to the podcast, and the next several episodes will focus on the Sun and its impact on our health, with a particular focus on us as African people around the world. So please check it out, leave likes and comments and share widely.
See you this weekend for the next read through of Blueprint. I’ll share the exact date and time later in the week, but it’s likely to be Saturday or Sunday at 10 AM Eastern US time.
Peace
Ely
